Our Vegan Crème Brûlée is Food Product of the Year
...
At Gault&Millau's Culinary Innovators event, we took home the 'Food Product 2022' award.
Gault&Millau believes the future of gastronomy depends on innovation. That is why the guide honors culinary entrepreneurs who dare to take leaps into the unknown. More than a hundred individuals and organizations were selected as candidates for an award, but only ten were able to turn their nomination into a prize.
Our Vegan Crème Brûlée, without added sugars, was honored with the 'Product Food Award 2022'.
This vegan crème brûlée is made from plant-based ingredients and contains no added sugars. As a result, it fits perfectly into a lactose-free diet and is suitable for people with diabetes.
The crème brûlée delivers the familiar creamy mouthfeel of the classic version and is flavored with real Madagascar (Bourbon) vanilla. In addition, we developed a sugar substitute, 'Sweetess', which can be sprinkled over the crème brûlée and then torched.
Simply thaw, torch and serve.
We were also very honored to provide the desserts at the event. We served a delicious taco and a yoghurt-based crème brûlée. You can find the recipes for these desserts via the following links: Taco - Crème Brûlée. Both desserts were developed using New Tex, a collaboration with Food Revolution By Didess.
